David Duchovny is a sex-addict

Gives a whole new meaning to The X-Files doesn’t it? David Duchovny, who plays FBI agent Fox Mulder in the popular franchise, has just rehab because he just can’t get enough and that’s a problem because, you know, he has a wife and two kids.

“I have voluntarily entered a facility for the treatment of sex addiction,” the former X-Files star’s lawyer Stanton “Larry” Stein tells People. “I ask for respect and privacy for my wife and children as we deal with this situation as a family.”

Wait, now I’m confused… Is it Duchovny who went to rehab or his lawyer? And for that matter, does that mean “the former lawyer of the X-Files star” or “the lawyer of the former X-Files star”? Talk about bad writing…

In any case, you can catch Duchovny on the big screen in The X-Files: I Want To Believe, in theaters now (unless it’s already been taken off, which is more than likely).
