Yet another romantic comedy for Anne Hathaway

25 year old actress Anne Hathaway (Rachel Getting Married) is slowly strenghtening her position as the new queen of cheese by starring in the romantic comedy The Fiance, directed by Burr Steers (Igby Goes Down) and written by newcomers Dyanne Stempel & Jennifer Robinson with rewrites by Etan Cohen (Tropic Thunder).

Hathaway will play a woman who cancels wedding plans and breaks up with her seemingly perfect fiance so she can try to figure out who she really is. Her meddling parents try to patch things up between the pair, making it impossible for her to move on.

The premise sounds like it’s already been seen before, but Hathaway is very talented so she might make this worthwhile. But then again, even she can’t make the trailer for her new movie Bride Wars look any good.

Camilla Belle to headline new Bruce Willis movie

Brazilian-American actress Camilla Belle (10,000 BC) has joined the cast of Three Stories About Joan, which will mark the directorial debut for acting superstar Bruce Willis (the Die Hard movies). She will play the titular character while Willis will play her father. The cast also includes Kieran Culkin (Igby Goes Down) and the film will start filming early next month.
