Russell Crowe will have double the fun in Nottingham

We already knew that Rusell Crowe (American Gangster) will play the Sheriff of Nottingham aka Sir Robert Tornham in Nottingham, the new take on the Robin Hood tale courtesy of acclaimed director Ridley Scott (American Gangster), but it turns out he’ll play the prince of thieves as well! Why? Simply because in the script, the Sheriff and Robin Hood are actually one and the same.

Duo Ethan Reiff & Cyrus Voris (Kung Fu Panda) and Brian Helgeland (Man On Fire) wrote the screenplay of the film, which will also star the currently despised Sienna Miller (Stardust) as Maid Marian. No word on when the highly anticipated film will start filming, but it is set for release in November 2009.

Getty backlash continues for Sienna Miller

Someone has defaced British actress Sienna Miller’s London home by spray painting “slut” and the Blair Witch symbol on her walls. 26 year old Sienna Miller (Stardust) has recently been labeled a homewrecker following her highly publicised relationship with Balthazar Getty (ABC’s Brothers & Sisters) who apparently prefers canoodling with the pretty blonde than spending time with his wife and four kids.

Reports suggest that Hollywood is turning its back on her, and Sienna is fearing for her career (which doesn’t stop her from continuing the aforementioned canoodling, mind you). Now, should your personal life affect your career in entertainment? It shouldn’t, really, but it does, and when you’re claim to fame is still cheating on and having been cheated on by Jude Law, that should clue you into the fact that you’re no Angelina Jolie and you will make some enemies.

The apparently talented Sienna Miller (I’ve heard good things about Factory Girl and Interview) need not worry too much however. She’ll be seen next year in Stephen Sommers’ G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra and Ridley Scott’s Nottingham, two movies sure to elevate her status.
